Specified Responsibilities
· Planning, Installation, and Training of Telecommunication Systems and Data Networking Devices.
· Interview and Advise clients of Best Practices and options prior to Installations, Develop a Pre-installation Task List.
· Deployment and Training of hardware and software related to systems installations.
· Complete post installation and maintenance review during project sign-off, document all system configuration information.
· Provide 2nd level technical support to clients and other technicians.
· Perform periodic reporting to management on various aspects of projects and duties.
· Supervise and perform maintenance on systems in accordance with documentation and plans.
· Share in required On-call and After Hours support responsibilities.
· Plan and supervise the activities of others when designated as team leader.
Qualifications and Experience
· 3-5 years of experience setting up and administering Telecommunication and Network Systems.
· Strong interpersonal skills, communication, leadership ability, teamwork and positive attitude
· 2 years of experience setting up and working with Windows Server platforms.
· 2 years of experience setting up and working with Windows Desktop platforms.
· Linux experience a plus.
Preferred Skills and Certifications
· Certification in Telecommunications equipment required.
· Network+ or A+ certification preferred.
· MSCE and Cisco certifications a plus.

Position: Technical Service Engineer
Install and maintain PBX, Voicemail, Data Networking and related products and systems. Provide 1st and 2nd level service over the phone and on-site with customers. Works directly with customers, service providers and equipment manufactures. Becomes subject matter expect on products and services offered. Provides support to 1st level Support and Sales staff.
